The Deni Ute Muster is an iconic Australian country music and cultural event, celebrating all things Australian attracting 20,000 guests annually.
In 2016, the Festival was looking for a headline act to feature that year. Working closely with the Deni Ute Muster team, Sound Advice Music was able to secure and book Australian and Global country super star Keith Urban.
Keith was a major draw card for the festival and a big hit with guests that year.
Coincidentally another client, the National Rugby League (NRL), were also looking for a major artist to feature in their Grand Final Pre-Game Show that same weekend.
Timing!
As long as our collective teams, including Keith’s promoter, could get a charter flight out of Deniliquin straight after Keith’s festival performance – and into Sydney before the curfew, we were on!
Luckily we’d had a dress rehearsal the year before when the Ute Muster’s headline act, Cold Chisel, was also the act Sound Advice Music had booked for the 2015 NRL Grand Final Pre-Game Show.
